After procrastinating yesterday (Monday), due to a sore tendon or something or other behind my knee (was supposed to start running), I finally got out today. Wouldn't call it running. I'm following the whatamidoingohforpetessakejustswallowyourprideandgetonwithit mantra for my new running schedule. Walk 90 secs, run 60 secs, repeat..... Just went out in Jeans today since I felt foolish trying to look like I was actually a runner - figured people could think I was late for the train or something......
It went well enough. Enough to do again in a couple of days..... I suppose.
I sent a note to the coach to see if he had a different walk-before-you-can-run schedule.
I'm a day behind on training, but figure I'll do the 30min bike ride tomorrow after work - we'll probably bring the bike to work (used to commute home about 5 years ago, so no biggie), then it will be easy and still light with less traffic when I get out... I might make it a looooong ride to miss the trikertreaters that may stop by.....
Next big hurdle is the Swim Clinic this Thursday. 5:30am.....
I'll let you know how that goes - that was my date anyway to officially start, so I'm stuck - they have a lot of clinics for the newbies - I wrote down the schedule and, once again, thought, "This is all happening too fast."
That's what I get for putting my money where my mouth is.....
If I'm awake after work, I'll post Thursday evening.....

Update: I didn't bike on Wednesday..... I'll only post when I have activity......
